Kampa Park was the first place we visited after we arrived and everything still felt so new.
The location of the restaurant is amazing it's right below the Charles Bridge.

This was my first time in Prague and I loved it! The whole place is just gorgeous the pretty rooftops and winding alleyways, there just so much to see. We started the day with a coffee at the U Prince Roof Terrace I would recommend it to anyone the view was stunning.

We Were Giants - All I Want (Official Video)

Tuesday, 3 March 2015

I was lucky enough to work on a music video with a really talented local band We Were Giants. It was directed by Andrew Jordan. We started filming on a cold October morning in the back of an old estate house. It was a beautiful space with exposed brick and wrath iron chandeliers. The sunlight was peering through the higher windows. Andrew wanted to incorporate it somehow, so we began using the light as the impulse for the movement. All of the movement for the video was entirely improvised. It was nice to have that kind of freedom and to bounce ideas off each other. I'm really happy with the final result, I hope you enjoy it.

The song is beautiful, as one reviewer wrote "it is as much a cinematic experience as a song", if you like the song as much as I do feel free to download from Itunes here.

Rome by Night

When in Rome

Monday, 23 February 2015

Ruairi and I went to visit Rome back in December it was a short trip but we still managed to see so much. I've always wanted to see Rome it has such an amazing history. There are so many iconic landmarks that we did stick to a lot of the typical tourist things but they really were worth seeing.

Our hotel was right beside the coliseum so that was our first stop. Even in December the lines were humongous. We opted to pay an extra ten euro to skip the line it was definitely worth it. It is one of the most amazing places I've ever seen. Unfortunately there is only a third of the building left in its original form but you definitely get a feel for the enormity and grandeur of the Roman empire.
After the coliseum we went towards the St Peters Square. We had a look at some restaurants along the main street but they looked touristy and overpriced so we went for a wander and found a lovely pizzeria not too far from St Peters Basilica.

The food was amazing. We didn't order anything really exciting but everything was fresh our pizzas were so thin. Real eat, pray, love food.
We were nearly conned outside St Peters Basilica for another skip the line tour. This time they were charging 50 euro and the tour guys told us that the line was so long that we wouldn't  even make it inside without the tour. Fortunately for me my boyfriend has more common sense and we passed on the tour and got inside with loads of time to spare.
Everything inside was so incredible I could have spent all day exploring. Needless to say it was dark by the time we left. We headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner we were wrecked and ready for a nap.
