Prague Favourites

Monday, 27 April 2015

Kampa Park was the first place we visited after we arrived and everything still felt so new.
The location of the restaurant is amazing it's right below the Charles Bridge.

We sat in candle light watching the reflection of the bridge street lights in the water.
The food was perfectly cooked and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal.
We stayed at The Imperial Art Deco Hotel and we loved it.
It was located just around the corner from the old town square so it was quiet but still very central. The interior of the hotel was beautiful the tiles in the restaurant where my favourite.
The art deco theme reminded me of The Grand Budapest Hotel.
The hotel cafe is a landmark in itself it's the home to a celebrity chef in Prague.
His weekly tv show is filmed there which is pretty cool.
Unfortunately they weren't filming why we where there.

A visit to the Prague State Opera was on my list as soon as we booked our flights.
I had hoped to see a ballet but there was none on the weekend we were there.
So we booked our tickets to see Rigoletto.
I wasn't sure what to wear so ended up going with jeans and a nice top because I'm always cold in the theatre.
You could wear anything you wanted though there were people in ball gowns, party dresses and really casual clothes.

There is so much to do and see in Prague these are just some of my favourites. If you want to see anymore of my trip to Prague you can here.

Prague

Saturday, 25 April 2015

This was my first time in Prague and I loved it! The whole place is just gorgeous the pretty rooftops and winding alleyways, there just so much to see. We started the day with a coffee at the U Prince Roof Terrace I would recommend it to anyone the view was stunning.
Then we made our way towards Prague castle. Walking over Charles Bridge on the way. It took forever because I kept taking pictures.
The castle itself is huge and the cathedral inside is amazing
On the way back we walked under Charles Bridge to the John Lennon wall. The wall is full of messages of peace and hope and it was started by students as a monument to free speech as a non violent rebellion against the communist regime.

Les 3 Vallées

Here are some pictures from my ski trip back in January.
I'm lucky enough that I usually get to ski every year we always stay in La Tania.
It's a small village that's part of the 3 valleys, the largest ski area in the world.
There are so many slopes that even though I go every year I always end up somewhere new!
Aside from the skiing which really is amazing for any level (it's great for beginners too)
the fashion is incredible.
Courchevel my favorite area of the three valleys is where the beautiful people flock to,
it's known to draw in everyone from celebrities to young royals.

It's been voted multiple times as one of the worlds chicest ski resorts
and it's not unusual to be sitting beside someone in a full Chanel ski suit with matching skis!

. If you are looking to go on a ski trip next year I would definitely advise it for the style spotting alone.
