Dingle

The second day of our trip to the kingdom we ventured towards Dingle for some horse riding and dolphin spotting.
For our horse riding trek we went with the Dingle Horse Riding School.
As I'm not the most skilled in terms of horse riding we took the beginner trail.
It was really easy going so we could chat and enjoy the views.
It was leaving cert week so the weather was amazing as always.
There were clear blue skies as we trotted along.
At lunchtime we headed towards the main street.
We stopped for some fresh sea food chowder.
The fish was so fresh it literally tasted as if it hopped into the bowl.
Then it was onto one of the things I was most excited for on this trip.
A visit to Fungi. Fungi is a dolphin who has lived in the Dingle harbor for years.
He is a wild dolphin but he comes out to say  hello hoards of tourists who visit daily.
Then we waited.
After an hour of jumping from one side of the boat to another with no luck,
he popped up to say hello.
I luckily caught him and I'm definitely going to frame this picture.

After all the excitement of Fungi we headed down the coast
to Dun Chaoin for a walk along the cliffs.
This winding path in particular was one of my favourite spots.
On our drive back to Killarney we couldn't help ourselves
and we stopped for some famous Murphy's ice cream.
It was the perfect way to end a sunny day in Dingle.
